Hopewiser
My Story
On 31st December 2021, Hopewiser’s National Account Manager’s little boy, Benjamin Sutherland Warner, was born asleep. They got to hold him, but they never got to tell him how much they loved him and he never got to meet his big brother.
During this time, they were supported by an amazing charity called 4Louis.
Among the many things that 4Louis do to support families going through childloss, they provide "cuddle cots" to maternity wards, which allows grieving parents to spend a little more time with their babies. They also provide memory boxes, which include keepsakes and other items, such as foot and hand print kits, a pair of identical teddies, a “birthday” candle and balloon and much more. This is all provided free of charge to support couples and families.
Hopewiser would like to raise funds to help this amazing charity continue the work that they do by walking 255,801 Steps in October in Benjamin’s name.
Why this number? Each step represents a precious life lost – the heartbreaking reality of 255,801 miscarriages, stillbirths, and child deaths recorded in 2022. By taking these steps, we honour their memory and raise awareness about this important issue.
By participating in Silent Steps, we’re walking in solidarity with families affected by pregnancy loss and infant death.
Every donation counts, and every step matters.
