For Everyone Affected By Loss ❤️
My Story
For the month of January I am taking on the 2023 challenge to welcome in the New Year; raising at least £20.23 for 4Louis by hand knitting or crocheting one love heart or more each day to be provided in the memory boxes their team gives to parents after loss. I have set the target at £100 as I hope we can achieve more!
If you don't know much about what the charity does; then let me tell you! 4Louis provides useful tools, equipment and training free of charge to hospital units, hospices and other professionals who sadly have the job of comforting grieving families who suffer a miscarraige, Stillbirth Neonatal or child death.
In supporting me on this journey you are helping me to provide an amazing gift for a family who is grieving. Memory boxes provide a special way for bereaved families to store meaningful items and remember their baby. 4Louis offers 8 different types of memory boxes, each box is tailored to meet the needs of various units and families, some of these also have the option of gender specific colours. They each contain different items to support and inspire bereaved families to capture memories with their baby or child. They are also a useful tool to support healthcare professionals as an ice breaker with a family. It gives them something to talk about and encourage the families involvement in capturing these precious keepsakes.
Knitted love hearts are one of the key items that the charity requires for their memory boxes and that is why I want to ask you sponsor me to knit love hearts in the month of January for all of the bereaved families. I will continue to knit them for the charity as long as I can; but if you could sponsor this time it would mean the world to me.
Thank you in advance for any support you can offer, please remember if all you can spare is even £1 that's still 1% of my goal completed.
Happy New Year! See you in 2023!
