Fundraising in memory of Noah William Heydon

My Story

We are raising funds for 4louis in memory of our beautiful baby Noah. He was much loved by everyone already. I suffered with hyperemesis throughout and was very poorly with it but he kept on fighting.

Unfortunately we went for our scan and was told he had a couple of possible medical problems wrong with him, he was slightly smaller and that his heartbeat was slower than normal.  I lost feeling of his movement on Boxing Day and it was confirmed he had passed away 28th December 2022.

Noah was perfect and born sleeping at Oldham Hospital on 30th december at 14 weeks 6 days. The hospital was the best and helped us every step of the way. They provided us with support, comfort, a cool cot so we got to keep Noah with us & spend time with him as a family and they also gave us a memory box from 4louis which helped provide us with forever memories to keep and cherish. 4louis also provides Moses baskets in different sizes for your baby to rest in, which we found gave Noah some dignity.

Cuddle (cool) cots and cuddle blankets: are a vital piece of equipment that stops a baby/child's body from deteriorating quickly.  Which enables families to spend some much needed extra time with them before saying goodbye.

There is currently a large waiting list for hospitals who require cuddle cots and blankets. Currently there are 44hospitals waiting for a cuddle blanket and only one family (us ) which are fundraising for one.

Our aim is to raise awareness for all the amazing things that 4louis do with providing tools and vital equipment to families but also training free of charge to medical professionals who have the job of supporting those grieving and going through loss, whether that be an early miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or a child death. But one of our main targets is to donate at least one cuddle blanket  which costs £5000 to a local hospital in memory of Noah and give back to those families who need that extra time to spend with their child. Any money raised will be an amazing help for the charity.

We are doing numerous things to raise money and are planning a family charity day in Manchester. Alongside this fundraising page for those who can't attend or are further away.

Thank you for reading and thanks for any support you give. Whether that's a donation or sharing it to your family and friends.
