My Story

I am taking part in the Great South Run in October to help support and raise funds for 4Louis. My goal is £275 but I would love to smash that target for such a worthy cause. I haven't run a race in about 6 years so I am a little (read 'a lot') rusty but charity is the motivation I need and I would love your support.

For those that do not know, each day in 2021, 1903 babies were born in the UK, 500 babies were miscarried, 145 were born pre-term and 8 babies were stillborn.

4Louis works across the country to support anyone affected by miscarriage, stillbirth, and the death of a baby or child. They understand the pain and heartbreak that families go through and are dedicated to providing support and comfort during this difficult time.

They provide memory boxes filled with keepsakes and mementos to help families create lasting memories of their loved one. They also provide useful tools, equipment, and training free of charge to hospital units, hospices, and other professionals who work with grieving families.

They understand that every family's journey is unique, and strive to improve the services given to families who have lost a baby or child. They want to make sure that no family has to go through this alone.
